      Verdict

      Dark Thirty has been out of his depth in Group 2 company the last twice and was only fifth in this grade earlier. NAVAL POWER completed his hat-trick in a Listed race at Ascot in July. He’s conceding 3lb to his rivals in this but has Group 1 entries and should have the class to extend his unbeaten record. Lion Of War was very disappointing in the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket and has a bit to prove now but Seeking Gold’s form stands up to scrutiny and Dancing Magic finished ahead of two subsequent winners when runner-up to Tarjeeh at Newbury.
