In depth

Verdict

Ice Box gets the vote in the opener with Show Trial and Calloff The Search the others to consider. The selection ran really well last time at Lingfield when finishing a close fourth behind Tilapia. She tired inside the final furlong that day so the drop in trip here should be very significant and she should be hard to beat. Show Trial has only ever won over today's trip but she did run respectably enough over 6f last time when finishing a close second behind Bentley. Calloff The Search was a fair third behind Holmes By Woodford last time out but he is far from consistent and he can't be backed with too much confidence. Razzano chased home Put It On The Card last time but that was a weak event and more will be required to get competitive today. This is an open race to get proceedings underway and Ice Box looks the most likely winner.
