November’s Lingfield winner Mistry was only fifth in this last year but is 2lb lower. Broughtons Fancy arrives off the back of a fair second at Newcastle and has a good draw but he’s never won on Polytrack. New Rich is on a long losing run but has dropped to a fair mark as a result, though he’s been racing over an extra furlong recently. CHIP OR PELLET is possibly better over 5f but he didn’t run badly over this trip last time at Lingfield and still has a bit of scope on this surface, unlike most - Mark Pattinson’s charge gets the nod.
