        Regal Ambition was still beaten seven lengths when runner-up at Wolverhampton behind a John Gosden-trained hot favourite. The latter introduces VANDELLA in this, a 280,000gns purchase related to winners including the smart Brown Sugar. She may well prove good enough on her debut. Solar Heights is the first foal of a winner in France and is preferred to Canasta and Dorchester of the other newcomers while Lucky Lou wasn’t beaten that far over track and trip on her debut with Invitational looking a likely improver.
