        Verdict

        Lilbourne Star has been off the track for over a year but went close here on his debut and has undergone wind surgery since last in action. Land Of Legends returned a losing favourite at Newmarket last time having been narrowly beaten at Yarmouth earlier while Penrhos was another expected to do better when well beaten in third at Newbury on his latest start. Given the doubts concerning the above, a speculative vote goes to the newcomer MUTAMAASIK, the first foal of a sister to a Group 1 winner representing powerful connections.
