Verdict

The Hannon yard has sent out the last two winners of this and will be hoping KING OF ROOKS can return to winning ways. He went close in the Molecomb at Goodwood in July, when beating both Rouleau and Princess Kodia, and has leading claims on that form. Adventurous was eased down once his chance had gone in the Acomb at York last time but had fared better in the Group 2 Richmond Stakes at Goodwood before that while Tutu Nguru ran well in a tough nursery at Newmarket last time and is worth another try in pattern company.
