    Verdict

QUINZ may be able to take another step in the right direction following a better run at Newbury and get the better of the progressive Winterwood and Tarateeno amongst others. The selection shot to prominence when winning the valuable brush hurdle final at Haydock in the spring and he was expected to make his mark as a chaser but things haven't really panned out for him. He has been returned to hurdling as a result and ran well enough in a contest that has worked out well and should be competitive. Winterwood doesn't have Sam Thomas to help him out here and is also 10lbs higher than at Warwick where he did well to recover from a bad mistake. This requires another step forwards but he's heading the right way. Tarateeno has to put a poor run behind him but he's enjoyed a decent season and could get back on track whilst Midas Way has plenty of track form to his name and makes a good bit of each-way appeal whilst a resurgent Quickbeam would be a danger to all. Tribe may have more to offer whilst Stagehand has been running consistently but he could struggle in this company unlike Quinz who has what it takes if he can return to form.
