In depth

Verdict

Intrepid Jack, Baron's Pit and Empress Jain are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the vote is given to Barons Pit. The selection was a good second behind Pivotal's Princess last time out, that form looks solid and in the hope that he acts on the surface he is taken to score. Intrepid Jack rates the main danger on his latest second behind Ripples Maid but he does not always find as much as expected off the bridle and is taken on with this in mind. Empress Jain is another that could go well and she is sure to make a bold bid from the front but she barely sees out the trip and she may be vulnerable close home. Of the remainder Rowe Park is improving with each run but this is his toughest assignment to date and his overall profile leaves him with a little to find.
