Verdict
Safari Sundowner, Resplendent Ace and Prime Number all have some appeal here, and from that trio we'll side with Safari Sundowner. A winner here in a similar contest 3 weeks ago, he's not giving much weight away with William Carson claiming 3 pounds, and he has the benefit of a high draw. Resplendent Ace won here last month too, over slightly further. All 4 of his career wins have come here, and he's Paul Howling's only runner of the night. He's not well drawn though. Prime Number won here in February and appears to prefer the surface to turf, and deserves respect, but we'll select Safari Sundowner.
