In depth

Verdict

A 6lb rise for her recent win at Lingfield may prove the undoing of Fleur De La Vie and Madame St Clair beat lower-rated rivals when landing a seller at the same track in June. OUR PHYLLI VERA continues to make good progress and won eased down at Folkestone last time. She's been raised 5lb but further imporvement is expected and Harry Dunlop's filly can post a follow-up. The Blue Dog is capable at this level but inconsistent while Richard Hughes' presence on Deceptive takes the eye on her reappearance as she's a C&D winner.
