Island Odyssey gets the call here ahead of Adelfia and Dickie's Dream. Island Odyssey is a filly on the up, a view she confirmed with a very good Salisbury win last time. Okay, she has been raised seven pounds for that success, but she still rates as a major player today. Adelfia came good in a course and distance maiden last time, in which she showed good qualities, although it remains to be seen whether the handicapper has overreacted. Whattizit keeps getting raised for narrow defeats but should go well, while Baloura's first try at this trip when fourth to Ollie George last time, was not a bad effort and he too could go well. Dickie's Dream also improved for the step up to 12 furlongs last time at Beverley and is not ruled out of a bold run. For us, the others have a little to prove at present which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Island Odyssey.
