Verdict
STARS IN THE SKY stepped up appreciably on her debut run when a creditable second to Alpen Rose in a Doncaster maiden over this trip. Stamina is therefore not an issue and, granted normal progression, the daughter of Galileo should prove a leading contender. Both Tafish and Vulcan displayed a level of promise last time but some interesting newcomers could prove more troublesome. The market should prove instructional regarding the chances of Richard Hannon's Gold Desert and John Gosden's Byzantine Empire makes greater appeal than Stanford and Acquitted.
