In depth

Verdict

Mount Athos can be given a chance back here for the first time since scoring over track and trip back in March. Stone Soldier has to race off a much higher mark back on the all-weather and Juan Les Pins does most of his winning over 6f. LARADO has yet to win this year but a recent neck defeat here suggests his turn is not far away so Mick Appleby’s charge gets the vote. Aratus is more favourably weighted than Tacarib Bay of the remainder.
