Verdict
Good Outlook carries a 7lb penalty for his win at Leicester on Tuesday and Martin Pipe's gelding is taken to defy that and follow up at the main expense of Moscow Leader and Conquer. The last mentioned represents the in-form stable of Henry Daly and, with the son of Phardante seemingly coming into form himself, he has to be respected. Moscow Leader steps up in trip having run creditably over shorter distances of late and, having stayed this far over hurdles, he holds solid claims. Brendan Powell's Our Kev has more to do off a 5lb higher mark than when winning a weak Musselburgh handicap last time, while Mamideos tends to find at least one too good and is likely to do so again. Henrietta Knight's Creative Time and lightly raced Towcester novice winner Kilmore Quay are others worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Good Outlook. Martin Pipe's gelding had fallen on two previous attempts over fences prior to a cosy success at Leicester and, provided he is in the same mood today, can win again.
