      Verdict

      Byron Blue has scored over 1m6f at Haydock and should stay this longer distance. He was well beaten off today's mark last time, however, and the less exposed AWESOME PEARL makes more appeal. He went close over 1m4f at this track on his latest start and looks the type his yard does so well with over these staying trips. Queen's Star is another 1m6f winner who should have no trouble with the trip if good enough though Jorum's breeding gives mixed signals regarding her stamina and she was beaten out of sight on her handicap debut over 1m4f.
