Verdict
Not many runners, but a competitive little event nonetheless. Captain Saif didn't achieve much when beating stablemate Princess Shoka at Lingfield on his debut. He is open to improvement, but this is a much better race. Gala Sunday looked a sure fire winner of a maiden after finishing second to the useful Wahsheeq at Goodwood on his debut, but he may have to play second fiddle to Prince Tum Tum, who shaped with plenty of promise at Newmarket. He is a long striding individual and looked as though he would benefit from the outing that day.
