In depth

Verdict

Tender The Great, Officer and Boundless Prospect appear the trio to concentrate upon and we stick with the first named. Brendan Powell has done some stirling work to ensure the best out of Tender The Great, who had been a fairly frustrating performer in the past. She is running well without winning and can be expected to burst through this evening with a withering late run. Forcing tactics and a drop in trip assisted Officer to his recent success. It would be unsurprising to see more of the same. Boundless Prospect's all weather record is nothing to write home about but Gay Kellaway has booked the useful Jack Mitchell so confidence is most definitely boosted. The Snatcher has lost his way badly and is watched until there is other evidence that is contrary to that opinion. Le Chiffre has won similar races at the track in the past and still has ability albeit in spite of his infirmities. Proper is watched in the market given the recent form of his stable. Having considered the alternatives, Tender The Great is the pick in a competitive event.
