ALFURAT RIVER should have benefited for last month’s debut third at Windsor and this extra furlong should also suit the Godolphin gelding. An apprentice takes 5lb off his back today and he’s preferred to Almufti but Lynchpin could go well after placing at Newmarket on his debut. Power Link and Show Of Strength finished practically upsides at Wolverhampton but Albert Finney has shown little so far and stablemate and newcomer White Coat makes more appeal.
