A competitive contest gets proceedings underway and there is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Sekula Pata, Summer Bounty and Lilac Moon and the narrow vote is given to Sekula Pata. The selection won well last time out when beating Montana Sky. Granted he has a penalty for that win but he won with plenty in hand and he still looks ahead of the handicapper. Summer Bounty rates the main danger as he beat Wishes Or Watches by eight lengths last time out. However this looks more competitive and he is taken on with this in mind. Lilac Moon was a fair third behind Prince Noel last time and is another with place claims but that form has since been let down. Of the remainder Bowl Of Cherries is another last time out winner but consistency is not his strong point and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum, for the winner we return to Sekula Pata.
