In depth

Verdict

If KOKOJO is capable of repeating her run here from last time out then she can take this nursery at the second time of asking, while Miss Dutee and Nellie Ellis are others short-listed. Our pick ran with credit in three maidens before being alloted a mark of 63 for that recent spin here, which saw her go close. The same again would give her every chance today, and any improvement would make her hard to beat. Miss Dutee won a 6f Lingfield nursery on good to firm before being thrashed at Chepstow. The assessor has now eased her burden and she should be thereabouts. Nellie Ellis has bagged a couple of claimers over this trip and goes well right-handed, so there is hope on her first try here. Palindromic would be interesting if backed for this nursery introduction with headgear applied, though we'll side with Kokojo.
