In depth

Verdict

Picador can land this at the expense of Kilgary and Davidia. The selection carries a six pound penalty for his recent success over the same trip at Lingfield last time out and for that reason has to be respected. He ran well to finish second prior to that at Woverhampton so looks an improving type and a horse to look out for in the future. Kilgary is unexposed with only three runs under his belt to date and was a little disappointing at Wolverhampton last time out. Having said that he did run with promise prior to that so if given the benefit of the doubt he has to be considered. Davidia looked like coming back to his former self when running with credit at Lingfield on his latest run. He had been a little in and out of form prior to that but has shown enough in the past to warrant repect so is one to note. But for the winner we return to Picador.
