In depth

Verdict

BAVARICA is the selection with Moon Crystal and Perfect Act the others of note. Given a modest ride by Amy Baker at Lingfield, Bavarica will now be partnered by inexperienced claimer, Toby Atkinson. That said, he has won on the mare in the past and if she can handle going this way around, she has plenty to like in this sphere. Moon Crystal is sure to be popular in the market. She didn't really shape up to the task at Southwell so that recent run is best forgotten. Perfect Act's saddle slipped last time out. There is no disputing that her yard are in form. Motivated Choice started life at Luca Cumani and is now in the care of Amy Weaver. She showed improved form at Wolverhampton but more is required. Hallingdal has been disappointing of late and appears best watched. Bavarica secures the vote.
