Verdict
STRAIGHT FACE is our call in the finale with Suhayl Star and Faintly Hopeful served up as the most likely dangers. Gay Kelleway's charge is an infrequent winner but has ran creditably enough at this track in the past. He kept on resolutely at Southwell without threatening to win it. Suhayl Star ran well on his first start since last April. He can make hay from a decent draw this afternoon. Faintly Hopeful can hinder himself with slow starts. The cheekpieces are back on again. Flamestone was found out last time and needs to find more improvement to get back into the winners enclosure. Jessica Wigmo is capable though running out of chances. Metropolitan Chief was once capable but has ran as if something were amiss in his most recent starts. An awful finale that looks set up for Straight Face.
