In depth

Verdict

Mill Green goes well fresh so it would be no surprise to see a prominent showing from Nicky Henderson’s nine-year-old and stablemate Adjali could also figure if back to his best. But several of his rivals would have been much happier if faced with some fences. That list includes Western Miller, Commanche Red, Just A Sting and King Of Realms and 2m is an insufficient test of stamina for staying hurdler Honest Vic. ECCO won on the Flat in Germany back in 2018. he’s won three times over hurdles and has been in good form in cheekpieces lately so gets the nod getting 6lb from last month’s Lingfield winner Esprit De Somoza.
