      Verdict

Riqaab's experience may enable him to get the better of newcomers Touchdown, Dance The Star and Top Lock. The handicapper has Dinarius, Hadron Collider and Mahadee rated within a pound of each other and it will be disappointing if at least one of the newcomers can't get the better of them. The selection showed promise in a Doncaster maiden which has yet to work out that well but he also showed up well at Lingfield last month in a mile maiden that looked decent on paper. There should be more to come from this son of Peintre Celebre now that he's stepped up to a trip more in line with his breeding and he appears to be heading the right way. Touchdown, Top Lock and Dance The Star all look the part on paper and all represent yards that are capable of saddling debutant winners. Touchdown and Dance The Star perhaps appeal as likelier winners at the first time of asking and the market should be monitored for signs of confidence. They have it all to prove though so we'll stick with Riqaab for our selection.
