This looks an open contest with several arriving on the back of wins including stablemates SUMMER VALLEY and Thermal. The latter won in soft going at Lingfield last time but the former is due to be raised by more than today’s penalty after making all for an easy success at Brighton and makes more appeal. Mr Zee can figure after scoring at Leicester and is preferred to Wolverhampton winner Genuine Approval but Signal Twenty Nine has a bit to find with the selection and On The Right Track hasn’t raced since December.
Summer Valley 3-1 (9-2) Made all, quickened clear over 1f out, eased towards finish, won at Brighton 1m 2f hcp (6) gf in Jun beating The Warrior (8-12) by 4 3/4l, 6 ran.
Minster (IRE) 16-1 (9-5) Held up in mid-division, headway near side of group over 2f out, 4th and one pace final 2f, 4th of 9, 14l behind Aria Rose (9-7) at Yarmouth 1m 3f hcp (6) gs in May.
Thermal (IRE) 14-1 (9-4) Edgy in stalls, held up towards rear and bit keen, good headway out wide over 2f out, led over 1f out, stayed on well, won at Lingfield 1m 4f hcp (6) sft in May beating Das Kapital (9-2) by 1 1/4l, 10 ran.
Signal Twenty Nine 11-8fav (9-7) Tracked leader, led inside final 3f, ridden and pressed 2f out, headed over 1f out, weakened final furlong, 3rd of 10, 6 3/4l behind Thermal (9-4) at Lingfield 1m 4f hcp (6) sft in May.
On The Right Track 10-3 (9-4) Held up just worse than midfield, niggled along and headway over 3f out, switched inside and further progress over 2f out, just lacked pace of winner inside final furlong, 2nd of 9, 1 1/4l behind Bad Attitude (9-12) at Wolverhampton 1m 4f hcp (6) pol in Dec.

Mr Zee (IRE) 6-1 (9-1) Made most, ridden over 1f out, stayed on, won at Leicester 1m 2f hcp (6) gf in Apr beating Glint Of An Eye (9-5) by 1l, 10 ran.
Tazaman 80-1 (9-3) Blindfold removed a fraction late and missed break, never going well and always behind, 8th of 10, 15 1/4l behind Jupiter Road (9-11) at Ripon 1m 2f hcp (6) sft in Aug.
