        Verdict

        Pinnata placed at Sandown last time but is rated much higher on this surface and won over track and trip back in February. ITKAAN (NAP) won maiden over course and distance last year and made a winning return to action at Sandown on his handicap debut. There looks plenty more to come on that evidence and Owen Burrows’ colt can defy a rise in the weights. Raaed and Dark Spectre are recent maiden winners making their handicap debuts though the latter steps back down from 1m2f while Impatient finished in front of Zhui Feng when runner-up over 7f here last week and makes most appeal of the remainder.
