In depth

Verdict

Berrahri is not out of this after a third at Newbury and Wilde Inspiration can be given a chance on his second at Goodwood despite failing to threaten the winner. Wellesbourne is sure to improve from his debut third at Wolverhampton but HESBAAN could prove the one to be on. The latter will appreciate the longer trip after finishing runner-up over 6f at Newbury and ran well at this track on his introduction. Sahara Desert and Sharp Lookout are newcomers to consider but Potentate is related to a host of winners including the very smart Firth Of Fifth and could prove best of the debutantes.
