Verdict
MARS LANDING was no match for the winner when runner-up at Sandown though still finished five lengths clear of the rest. Further progress should see him go very close representing last year’s winning yard. Nugget showed some ability on his debut and is preferred to stablemate Punctuate but Banmi has struggled since winning a maiden at Chelmsford in August. The Godolphin colt Desert Peace is a son of Curlin that cost a whopping $1.3million and is preferred to Raajin of the newcomers.
