Verdict

BRAMBLEDOWN was too keen and made mistakes when second at Plumpton but he’ll know more today and the winner wasn’t entirely disgraced under a penalty at Huntingdon last week. Olympic Honour was third at Down Royal in August but has switched stables since. Langer Dan is making his racecourse debut but has been found a soft introduction while War Eagle was third at Aintree in June and ahead of Two Blondes when fifth subsequently at Stratford, though has something to find with the selection on collateral form.
