        Verdict

An open ending to proceedings with narrow preference for one of the recent winners; the ¿2000 total prize money question is which, and tentatively we will side with Tabulate. The selection drops in trip this afternoon to the bare mile and from a fair enough draw he should be able to hold a prominent position and land these moderate spoils. His main rival is likely to be Busy Man who finally got off the mark last time out over the course and distance, That may have given him a confidence boost and it is not unreasonable to assume that he could run well here. Big Ralph is yet to win in 13 starts but ran well enough last time to suggest that his turn might not be a million miles away, whilst Wizby has at least won a race over the trip. Mtoto Girl could go well at a price as her last run can be ignored due to the saddle slipping, however in a weak race it is Tabulate who is taken to oblige.
