In depth

Verdict

Building Bridges went close over 2m at Wolverhampton when last on the Flat and Maria Magdalena has won over timber since scoring on the Turf track at Lingfield in September. Beat The Judge is rated higher over hurdles than the latter pair but has yet to win on the level but Crimson King scored over track and trip in March and is preferred to Sandy Steve and Shifting Gold, who both won their penultimate starts. The progressive FORESEE looks worth sticking with back over today’s trip having won four of his last six outings and placing over 1m6f last time, despite a hike in the weights.
