      Verdict

      Miss Pitz should benefit from a short break having disappointed at Chepstow early last month but still looks a shade too high at the weights. Preen makes her handicap debut having shaped with ability in maiden company and is hard to assess but Dodona has proven form in similar company and won't mind the soft conditions. Transcendantale showed improvement to score over C&D from 9lb out of the handicap proper but may struggle off her revised mark.
