Verdict
Steenbok and Sinfonico should both have developed for their first appearances on a racetrack but our vote goes to JAMEEL. He looks to have a good future as a three-year-old as his Giant's Causeway dam was top-class and finished second in the 1,000 Guineas. Nonetheless, she also won the Rockfel Stakes as a juvenile and Saeed Bin Suroor has won half of the juvenile races he has entered here this year. Jameel is selected to make a winning start to his career. Sirius Prospect has a strong chance having performed well in two starts so far. However, Dean Ivory has not had a winner with his juveniles this year. Orthodox Lad has looked progressive and has claims if he continues to advance whilst Old English is a half-brother to plenty of winners and could be decent. Although it is a marginal call, Jameel just edges it.
