A race little better than selling grade and Wassfa is chanced at the chief expense of Bronze Star and Milk and Sultana. Clive Brittain is never afraid of tilting at better company with his fillies and this represents a massive drop in class for Wassfa given that she ran in the Cheshire Oaks earlier in the year. She has obvious claims in a race that lacks any strength in depth. Bronze Star ran a fair second to the ill-fated Eccollo at this circuit and could be worth persevering with off her lowly mark. Milk And Sultana is fully exposed in banded grade and is a honest enough despite an obvious lack of ability. Emilion has never been beaten far in six starts thus far and would be of interest if the market speaks in her favour. Lady Pilot needs the race to be run at a true gallop in order to let her stamina come into play. Cove Mountain met with trouble at Lingfield at a vital stage but it did not affect her chances of landing that affair. Plenty of question marks against many and Wassfa is nominated on the basis of her turf form earlier in the year.
