Bowl Of Cherries is preferred to Fantasy Defender and Kathleen Kennet. The selection finally got his head infront last time out and while one accepts that this occured in a banded stakes race, we take the view that the headgear did the job and keep our fingers crossed that a similar story unfolds. Fantasy Defender was well punted last time out at Wolverhampton but he has had 18 runs on the all-weather without success and it is hard to enthuse. Kathleen Kennet ran second to handicap good thing, Atlantic Story on her most recent outing, and is worth another chance over eight furlongs. Sprinkle showed evidence of some ability when with Ralph Beckett but the jury is out since joining new connections. Shergael is tried in headgear while King Of Knight is dropped in trip. Paso Doble is on a long losing run. Bowl of Cherries gets the nod in a moderate affair.
