        Verdict

        Smart Champion beat a subsequent winner here in September and should go well on his return but BLAZEON FIVE has the more recent form. The latter landed a course and distance double before completing the hat-trick with last month’s success at Southwell and Roger Teal’s mare looks worth sticking with despite a further rise. Hydroplane won over 2m at Chester during the summer but Aced It steps up in trip today and First Charge finished lame at Southwell last time.
