        Verdict

        Several drop back in distance for this including Top Score, who has struggled since landing a double over 7f at Meydan early this year. Solomon's Bay won over the same distance at Epsom in June but hasn’t figured in Group 3 races subsequently while Blue De Vega has placed in pattern races over 7f in Ireland and has joined Bob Cowell’s yard since last in action in May. David O’Meara sent out out last year’s winner and OUT DO (NAP) has faced a couple of tough tasks since winning the Wokingham. But a return to his Ascot form should see him go close on these terms and he gets the nod to come out best.
