Verdict
A tricky finale where not many can confidently be ruled out. However, slender preference is for Carriacou, who held her own in fair company last term and starts off this season on a mark will need to see her sparkle sooner rather than later if she is to continue to progress through the ranks. The daughter of Mark Of Esteem faces no easy task here though and the likes of Celtic Heroine, Anousa and Count Dracula all have solid each-way claims and should do their bit to make for a competitive end to the day. While Gretna also has to be considered as a danger even though she faces a stiffer test than the one faced at Folkestone last month and has a fair bit more to do off top weight in this slightly stiffer company here. Therefore, Carriacou could be the more solid option as she has fewer questions to answer regarding her ability at this level and she will be hard to beat with the ground coming up in her favour.
