        Verdict

        Parthenope, Inscribed and Willofcourse are shortlisted in a competitive opener and the vote is given to Parthenope. The selection won well last time at Brighton when she beat Legal Lover. She is relatively lightly-raced and that was improved form from her, and there is every chance that she could improve again to take this from a decent draw. Inscribed ran well when chasing home Viewforth over 6f at Lingfield last time and with this step-up to 7f very much in his favour he has to be considered. Willofcourse finished behind Inscribed last time and on these terms there is no reason why those placings should be reversed today. Time To Regret has got a good draw and could go well at a price, but for the winner we will stick with Parthenope.
