In depth

Verdict

Famous Dynasty and Lexington Empire won lower grade contests on their respective latest starts but the latter has an 8lb hike to contend with as he steps up in trip. Morning Skye won by only a short-head at Lingfield recently while High Command was narrowly beaten over 1m6f last time. Bombero has been in good form on soft going but hasn’t raced since June and a chance is taken on MOVING FORWARD (NAP). The latter was placed at Wolverhampton on a recent handicap debut despite his rider dropping his whip some way out and Saeed bin Suroor’s charge has an apprentice’s allowance in his favour today.
