        Verdict

        A hood and tongue-tie are applied to Lingfield third Scorched Breath while Stay Forever’s recent second came over a mile at Southwell. The returning Canford Dancer is weighted to beat both the latter and Altar Boy but GUIDING SPIRIT finished behind a subsequent winner when fourth over 6f here recently. Clive Cox’ charge is preferred to stablemate April Wine and, with further improvement expected, gets a speculative vote in something of a lottery. Just Benjamin, May Sonic and Sweet Celebration are all newcomers to note with the former preferred if supported in the betting.
