Verdict

The progressive BUCKLAND is 26lb higher than when recording the first of his four recent wins. He's stepping up in trip today but returned a comfortable winner here last time and still looks ahead of the handicapper. The Tiger is weighted to push the selection close while stablemate Mubaraza scored over today's distance at Newmarket back in August and is only 7lb higher on his return. Albert Bridge ended last season with a near miss on a trip to Leopardstown and can also figure and Desert Recluse has the beating of Topolski on collateral form over track and trip. Masterful Act won a bumper on the Fibresand last time but Woolfall Treasure is up 6lb for January's course and distance win and may be in the handicapper's grip now.
