Verdict

SPELLMAKER had Le King Beau well behind when scoring at Lingfield on his first start since July. With plenty of scope for further progress, Tony Newcombe's charge can go in again dropping down a grade. Kaylee was beaten a length over track and trip last time and has the beating of Lisselton Cross on that form while Metropolitan Chief finished a bit closer on his latest outing at Lingfield. Kerfuffle made the frame on a couple of occasions at the end of last year and could prove best of the rest in first-time blinkers.
