Verdict

Irene Kennet recorded a double over course and distance last month and beat five of today's opposition on her latest start. Youm Jamil and Shirataki finished closest to her on that occasion but she's fancied to confirm running and make another bold bid. Midnight Bahia dead-heated for first place at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago with Leitrim King behind and could figure again but ASIA MINOR makes more appeal. She proved well suited to the longer distance when beating Evergreen Forest with plenty to spare over track and trip last time and gets the nod with further progress likely.
