In depth
Verdict
The booking of Kieren Fallon for Wedding Party catches the eye and the daughter of Groom Dancer, who hails from a yard that have done well with the few youngsters they have run this term, is selected over fellow newcomers Crocodile Kiss and Molly Dancer. Out of those with previous experience: Magical Romance shaped promisingly on debut and should appreciate this extra furlong, while Mabella also has very little to find on her Windsor form to get competitive and could easily make the frame. Bint Il Sultan on the other hand failed to build on her first outing and, although the drop in trip could bring about improvement, she may be best watched for the time being. The market will give the best indications regarding the remainder of the field - with Rocky's Girl another that will be interesting if money comes to back up her claims at the first time of asking. However, Amanda Perrett seems to have turned the corner with her string and, as she is definitely a trainer to keep on the right side of when she is firing on all cylinders, it will be no surprise to see Wedding Party know exactly what is required of her this afternoon. A half-sister to juvenile winner Prince Hector, this six furlongs will probably be the ideal introduction for her and, with Fallon doing the steering, Wedding Party will be given every chance to make her debut a winning one.
