Verdict

Mac Mccarthy made a winning start in handicaps when scoring over a mile at Chelmsford and beating LUNA WISH by a neck. But the latter made most of the running on that occasion and, re-opposing on better terms with the return to 7f likely to suit, she gets the vote. There was little between Bacchalot, Port Noir and Luscifer in a handicap at Ffos Las recently though none looked like winning while the betting may offer some clues to the chances of those new to handicapping with the likes of Out Of Here, Lethal Talent, Premium Bond and Now I'm A Believer all worth noting.
