Verdict

Rambaldi was beaten in a handicap last time having won a classified event at Nottingham earlier and Universal Effect makes a quick reappearance under a penalty having scored at Chelmsford four days ago. DARGEL (NAP) is also penalised having completed a double with a recent course and distance success. But Clive Cox’ colt won by an easy four lengths and the hat-trick beckons with further progress on the cards. Stormbomber found only one too good here last week and Kings Royal Hussar finished in front of Lolita Pulido when placed at Sandown while Image Of The Moon could also go well back on the all-weather today.
