John Gallagher's MAKE MY DREAM should at least make his day and break a sequence of near misses in the last with Tubby Isaacs and Resplendent Alpha also likely to be in the shake up. A string of four placings from his last four starts the selection gets the nod as he is now off a mark just two pounds heavier than when he posted his two career wins. His recent outings off the higher rating have stopped him winning but not performing well and his form from his penultimate run has been stood up slightly. Perhaps a little more effective over the shorter five furlong trip he stayed on well on testing ground at Nottingham last time so there's no real reason why he won't get the extra distance. Tubby Isaacs returns to the course where he won back to back races before disappointing on the turf last time. Obviously a bit of a course specialist he definitely prefers six furlongs and with the form from his last Kempton victory being slightly franked he is in with every chance especially when you consider he receives weight from his rivals. Albeit a bit hit and miss Resplendent Alpha should also be considered after landing a second place in a contest better than this on the turf last time. That though may be further proof that grass is a better surface for him with recent all-weather form letting the gelding down. Royal envoy is another stepping down in class after placing in a better contest last time and has some decent Polytrack form but Make My Dream should have the beating of him and the others.
