In depth

Verdict

Rabbit Fighter can continue his fine run prior to the New Year with another win at the expense of Sun Catcher and Hollow Jo. The selection was in great form during the early winter months and is now bidding for a hat-trick after wins over course and distance. He has risen in the weights as a result but he still looks the one to stay on the right side of. Sun Catcher comes here after a lay off but looks well treated on his old form and if able to bounce back to his best while fresh he could be worth noting. Hollow Jo is a horse that always tries his best. He was in winning form around here last month and was raised five pounds for his efforts and that might have him held once again here. So for the winner we return to Rabbit Fighter.

Formwatch

Rabbit Fighter (IRE) Successful at 6f and 1m 1f on polytrack. A winner at 9-2 over this course and distance earlier this month, beating Willhewiz by 4l. Carries a 6lb penalty tonight for that success. Has also won at Wolverhampton this year. Comes here in terrific form;.

Dvinsky (USA) Winner of seven races from 6f to 7f including 4 wins on polytrack. A winner at 11-1 at Kempton over 6f last month, beating Mr Cellophane by a head. Has risen 3lb in the handicap for latest win, but tackles an extra furlong today and cannot be dismiss.

Namir (IRE) Winner of seven races from 5f to 6f on ground varying from firm to soft. Beaten 2 1/4l behind Hotham at 14-1 on his latest outing over this course and distance (good to firm) last month. Has won at Beverley and Nottingham this season.

Hollywood George Successful at 6f and 7f on polytrack. Won a seller on his latest outing, when 8-13fav here over 7f in April, beating Marist Madame by 1 1/2l. Having his first run for a new stable here, previously with K A Ryan. May have to settle for minor honours o.

Sun Catcher (IRE) He has won three times at 6f including a win on polytrack. Beaten about 10l behind Hessian at 8-1 on his latest outing here over 7f last month. Won, over this course and distance in January, beating Quality Street by 1l. Respected on best form, but r.

Hollow Jo Has won 13 races from 5f to 1m including 9 wins on polytrack. A winner at 10-3 over this course and distance earlier this month, beating Guto by a neck. Warrants the utmost respect in his bid to follow up despite being burdened with a 6lb penalty.

Gleaming Spirit (IRE) Beaten 19l behind Charles Parnell at 15-2 on his latest outing at Ayr over 5f last month. Won, over this course and distance (good to firm) in August, beating Glencal by a neck. Should appreciate the return to this trip, but he would probably prefer.

Game Lady Beaten 8 3/4l behind Efisio Princess at 16-1 on her latest outing at Windsor over 6f (soft) last month. Won, over this course and distance in May, beating Napoleon Dynamite by a neck. She's better than she showed last time but others appear to boast.

Mind Alert Winner of seven races from 6f to 7f including 6 wins on the all-weather (3 FB, 3 PO). Beaten about 11l behind Chatshow at 8-1 on his latest outing at Kempton over 6f earlier this month. Has won at Kempton and Southwell this season but is higher in th.

Royal Envoy (IRE) He has won three times from 6f to 7f including 2 wins on polytrack. Third of 11 behind Dvinsky beaten 1 1/4l at 9-2jt-fav on his latest outing at Kempton over 6f last month. Won, at Kempton over 6f in January, beating Millfield by 3/4l. Unlikely to b.

Littledodayno (IRE) Winner of five races at 6f including 2 wins on polytrack. Beaten 4l behind Dvinsky at 15-2 on her latest outing at Kempton over 6f last month. Won, at Kempton over 6f last month, beating Mambazo by 1/2l. Drops in class tonight and would have claims i.

Hucking Hill (IRE) He has won three times from 5f to 6f on polytrack. Finished 1 1/2l behind Radiator Rooney when fifth of 8 at 7-1 on his latest outing over this course and distance earlier this month. Not out of it, one for the each-way punter.
